PARENT COACH TRAINING EVENING
Coaches will observe and participate in the drills, games and activities as part of the fall curriculum developed by Kickz Soccer UK
Alternative games and activities will also be delivered.
Please be prepared to participate in the games and drills during the evening.
Equipment will be available for parent coaches grade 3 - 8.
Grade 3 thru 8 team selection draft process
To make the team seclection process as fair as possible, Madison Recreation Soccer have decided to adopt a draft process. Two key aspects were highlighted last season with is why this method has been selected.
Many players expressed their desire to play with their friends, which tended to be players in the same grade. The outcome, teams with the majority of 5th grade players were up against teams with the majority of 8th grade players. Older players had a physical advantage which caused concern for the younger teams.
This process will allow the managers to make decisions about the selection for age and friendship and will hopefully create a more appropriate balance.
Nominated parent coaches will select their individual players, taking it in turn with other coaches. Parent coaches will be given names, grades and schools attended prior to draft night.

6.45pm - Grade 3 & 4 Boys
7.30pm - Grade 5 - 8 Girls

2010 Program curriculum
Parent coaches will receive a full curriculum hand book for grade K thru 8, the curriculum will identify the skills and tactics delivered by Kickz Soccer UK professional coaches on a weekly basis throughout the eight week program.
